FUNNY GUY is a twisted exploration of the fragile underpinnings of love, friendship, ambition, and betrayal. As two couples chase relevance and meaning, a towering neon marionette stalks the stage, challenging us to confront our own greed, desires, and identity. In this dark comedy set in New York City, Dan and Emma engage with Bill and Margie in a spiky contemporary drama, while subconscious motivations are laid bare by the neon giant. New for the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, Funny Guy by Patrick Nash directly challenges us to question our most intimate relationships and understanding of who we are.
